The Victoria program was hosted by Greater Victoria Development Agency. The morning session started with presentations by several research networks from University of Victoria, followed by a roundtable discussion with regional economic stakeholders and a question/answer session. Participating stakeholder groups include Western Diversification, Vancouver Island Technology Park, Tourism Victoria and Victoria Airport Authority. TIRs gave presentations on market opportunities at the stakeholder and industry luncheon where Mayor of Victoria Dean Fortin extended his warm welcome to the group.
The afternoon consisted of one-on-one meetings with local businesses including: Stantec, Cube Global Storage, Simation Global Technologies, Dark Matter Labs, Cebas Visual Technologies, Carmanah Technologies.
