B.C. Agrifoods Industry Celebrates Great Year & Prepares for a Busy 2015

Companies and organizations in British Columbia’s agrifood sector can toast to a successful year of promoting their products in new international markets while also starting to prepare for a busy new year. This January, companies from across B.C.’s agrifood industry will be participating in two major shows on opposite sides of the world. From January 11-13, B.C. will have a strong presence at the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, California. Japanese Game Developer gumi Inc. Lands in B.C.

British Columbia’s reputation as an international digital media hub gained more steam with the November 2014 announcement of Japanese game developer, gumi  Inc., opening an office in Burnaby, British Columbia. Established in 2007, gumi Inc. is a developer and operator of mobile games, and has distributed more than 40 titles on various platforms, including hit games like Brave Frontier and Ninkyodo.
