Asia Mission Strengthens Relationships in Key Markets

Earlier this month, British Columbia’s Minister of International Trade, Teresa Wat, embarked on a trade mission to China, Korea and Japan, aimed at strengthening relationships and expanding markets for B.C. companies. The mission was a success with the minister forging stronger relationships with business and government leaders as well as promoting key sectors within British Columbia. During her 2014 Asia trade mission, Minister of International Trade Teresa Wat paid a visit to the Busan, Korea retail store of Arc’teryx, a British Columbia company enjoying export success in the province’s fourth-largest goods export market. British Columbia Seafood in the Spotlight at China Fisheries and Seafood Expo

Seafood companies from across British Columbia showcased their fresh and diverse products at this year’s China Fisheries and Seafood Expo in Qingdao from November 5-7, 2014. The British Columbia booth at the expo proved to be a hub of activity with the help of British Columbia Minister of International Trade, Teresa Wat, and celebrated local chef Nathan Fong who served up delicious samples of various B.C. seafood products.
