B.C. anchors international attention at top marine show

British Columbia brought a delegation of twelve powerhouse ocean technology companies to the Shipbuilding Machinery & Marine Technology Show (SMM 2016) in Germany’s major port city of Hamburg, last week. Economist ranks Vancouver as one of the World’s most Liveable Cities

Vancouver, British Columbia has once again been recognized as one of the top cities worldwide to live and work. The Economist Group’s Intelligence Unit has recently released their 2016 global liveability survey, ranking Vancouver as the third most livable city in the world. The survey looked at 140 cities focusing on factors such as a city’s stability, healthcare, culture and environment, education and infrastructure.
