Regional Districts - The boundaries of the regional districts are large and span the entire geographic area of the province. Each regional district is divided into incorporated municipalities and regional district electoral areas for unincorporated areas .

The province is also home to individuals and groups who identify as Metis and Inuit, distinct from First Nation people and non-Aboriginal people.
