KIMES 2022

Korea International Medical and Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES) is the oldest and the
largest annual medical & hospital equipment trade show in South Korea. The Show covers
wide range of medical products such as diagnostic equipment, clinical examination
equipment, radiology equipment, surgical apparatus, physiotherapy apparatus, ophthalmic
apparatus, dental apparatus, central supply equipment, pharmaceutical & surgical equipment,
disposables, emergency equipment etc.

The show is a B2B focused event to present latest medical information and new technology to
industry relevant personnel. With the help from Trade & Invest B.C., delve into medical
market of South Korea, starting from the KIMES 2022.

Cost for participation = Free to participate if selected. (There will be selection process)

B.C Korea Office will feature at a B2B hall in which both B.C and Canada (Embassy in Seoul) will produce a Canada Pavilion to attract qualified Korean medical & hospital equipment related companies, distributors, and investors.

Companies participating in the B.C. delegation will participate on the following:

Market Briefing Webinar: Webinar with industry specialist will share the overall market landscape of Korean medical device industry.
Company Pitching Session (TBC): A virtual company pitching session, targeting local distributors. B.C companies who have signed up to the virtual trade mission will be given a 10-15 min presentation slots each, to showcase their company profile, tech and products. TBC on early to mid-February.
1 on 1 B2B Sessions: Virtual 1 on 1 B2B Sessions will take place after the pitching session. TBC on late February to March.
Canada/B.C Pavilion: Joint promotion at the Canada/B.C. pavilion (Total 2 booth) during the event

KIMES timeline:
Application Deadline: January 19th Wed (Thursday 20th and Friday 21st will also be open for late applications)
Selection Process: BC TIR will confirm if BC company meets the requirements for participation.
Webinar: Early February (TBC). Around 1 hour. Cover current Korean market for med devices, and approval process.
