The Embassy of Canada in Tokyo is hosting the “Canada AI Startup Showcase” pitch event that will be held virtually in mid-October, followed by an online B2B matching program on November 3-4 PST/November 4-5 JST. In this program we will be introducing Canadian companies to targeted Japanese companies through a program of B2B meetings, taking into account the strategic areas of AI in Japan, the advantages of Canadian AI companies, and the growing and changing needs for AI technology in the Japanese market.

In terms of social implementation of technologies through achieving Society 5.0* in Japan, this B2B program is focused on introducing Canadian AI startups from various fields, including regional development (smart cities), manufacturing, health and medical care, transportation and logistics, agriculture, among others.
