Technology start-ups make important business connections at Plug and Play
(PnP), the Canadian Technology Accelerator located in Sunnyvale, California, the heart of Silicon Valley.
PnP hosts more than 300 technology start-ups from more than 20 countries. Principals work closely to build innovative companies in networking, software, systems, semiconductor and telecom verticals. At any given time, up to six Canadian companies operate full-time at PnP for up to three months.
Select start-up companies can participate in PnP’s own accelerator program at no additional cost. The program provides structured access to the resources of Silicon Valley, helping entrepreneurs understand their company’s potential while exploring business development, investment, mentorship and strategic partnership opportunities. They can also meet investors and showcase their talent to corporate partners such as Google, Microsoft and PayPal.
British Columbia companies that have completed the three-month program at PnP include:
- Textnomics: a data mining, machine learning, and natural language processing company.
- Trulioo: a developer of identity verification products.
British Columbia companies currently at PnP:
- Open Box Integration: developers of custom software systems that enhance productivity and profitability for entrepreneurs and franchisors.
- Fusion Pipe Solutions: an enterprise mobility solutions company that specializes in cloud.
